Additional drivers must meet all renter requirements. Additional drivers can be added to the contract at any rental branch. The daily surcharge per additional driver is 3.72 EUR excluding airport fee.
Customer should drop off the vehicle at the branch where a National representative will be waiting for him-her in order to collect it. Airport terminal is in walking distance. After hour service in airports of -Thessaloniki, Ioannina, Araxos-Patra, Chania, Kos, Lesvos, Mykonos, Naxos, Paros, Santorini, Zante-Zakynthos, Volos, Skiathos cost 20.00 EUR plus VAT. After hours service from 21:00 to 08:00.
The minimum age to rent is 21. Underage drivers may rent the categories Mini and Economy and all other categories at a daily surcharge of 12.40 EUR excluding airport fee. There are no restrictions or surcharges for drivers aged 23 and older. Renters over 75 may rent all vehicles at a daily surcharge of 12.40 EUR excluding airport fee.
Vehicles can be driven in Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Bosnia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Gibraltar, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the Vatican. Vehicles must be returned to the agreed station in Greece.
Out of country travels require approval 5 working days prior to the start of the rental. A surcharge for a Third Party Insurance (TPI) will apply and must be purchased at the rental counter. The charge is 111.60 EUR excluding airport fees per rental and 12.40 EUR excluding airport fees for each rental day. The vehicle is covered by TPI as long as it is driven inside the borders of the country for which it is issued. Roadside assistance while driving abroad is available. Transportation of the vehicle by ship or ferry within Greece requires written authorisation by the rental station at the time of pickup. A charge of 31.00 EUR excluding airport fee will apply. The vehicle must be returned to the location stated in the rental agreement otherwise the full cost of vehicle recovery and a one way drop fee will be charged. The vehicle is not covered for any damages or loss while it remains on the ship without written authorisation by the rental station.
COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (CDW): Covers the renters’ liability for damages to the rented vehicle - under the condition that the damage is not due to infringement of Road Circulation Code, with a deductible amount of:
500.00 EUR plus VAT for car groups MINI and ECONOMY.
700.00 EUR plus VAT for car groups COMPACT, COMPACT SPECIAL, COMPACT SUV, INTERMEDIATE, INTERMEDIATE SUV.
1200.00 EUR plus VAT for car groups STANDARD, STANDARD WAGON, FULL SIZE, FULL SIZE VAN, INTERMEDIATE CARGO VAN, STANDARD CARGO VAN.
1700.00 EUR plus VAT for car groups PREMIUM and LUXURY.
CDW does not provide any coverage concerning damages provoked at the underside part of the vehicle, inside part of the vehicle-saloon, wind shields, mirrors, car key damage, the antenna, incorrect fuel, during transportation by ferry without prior written authorization by Enterprise at the time of pick up the car, acts of God, Terrorist Attacks, wheels and tires.
If CDW is not including to the Rental Agreement, the renter is liable to pay the total amount of the damages of the rented car.
The Accident Statement should always be supplemented so that the insurances’ covers will be in effect. If there is a third party involved to an incident, we recommend clients to call the police authorities to the incident. In case of car damage or a car theft, an administration fee (D.A.F.) of 25.00 EUR plus VAT and Airport Fee will be charged to the driver. This charge applies irrelevantly of party at fault.
Vehicles returned with stained interior that is not cleaned with normal / common washing, client’s will be charged for 85.00 EUR plus VAT for the biological cleaning of the car. If the driver drives the vehicle off the official road network and the vehicle immobilized, the driver will be charged the cost of towing the vehicle from the roadside assistance.
All rentals where the vehicle is not returned to the same location as it is collected will be subject to a one way fee. One way rentals must be requested at the time of booking. Unauthorised one way drops will be charged at the end of the rental. The one way fee must be paid at the rental counter. One way rentals between mainland Greece and Greek Islands are not permitted. One way rentals between Corfu airport and Corfu Acharavi are charged at 43.40 EUR excluding airport fee.
One way rentals between Athens airport and Athens downtown branches are charged at 22.32 EUR excluding airport fee.
One way rentals between Thessaloniki and Halkidiki branches are charged at 124.00 EUR excluding airport fee.
One way rentals between Athens and Ioannina branches are charged at 372.00 EUR excluding airport fee.
One way rentals between Thessaloniki branch to Kavala Airport and Volos branch are charged at 186.00 EUR excluding airport fee.

Renters must return the vehicle with the same fuel level as at the time of pick up. If the vehicle is not returned with the same level of fuel the renter will be charged a refuelling service charge based upon the fuel used. Please contact the local branch for details.
Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) provides cover for the driver for medical expenses up to 350.00 EUR and 15000.00 EUR for loss of life or total permanent disablement per accident.
The cost of PAI is 4.00 EUR per day plus all applicable taxes and surcharges.
Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards are accepted. All cards presented must be in the renter’s name. A security deposit will be blocked on the credit card and the estimated cost of the rental will be charged at the time of rental. The blocked deposit on the credit card will be released upon acceptable return of the vehicle and notification of the cardholder's bank. The car categories Mini, Economy, Compact and Intermediate require a deposit of 290.00 EUR, Standard and Full size vehicles and Cargo Vans require a deposit of 390.00 EUR and Premium and Luxury vehicles require a 1000.00 EUR deposit. Debit cards, prepay cards and Unionpay are accepted as forms of payment of the rental or to purchase additional products. The deposit must be taken on a valid credit card. Unionpay is not accepted in Halkidiki, Kos, Milos, Mitiline, Lesvos, Patra, Santorini and Zakynthos. Please enquire at the local branch for details.
Roadside Assistance is free of charge and available 24/7. Interamerican Assistance (Telephone:1158 from Greece and + 30 210 9461333 when calling from International mobile phones) is the roadside assistance provider for Athens, Thessaloniki, Heraklion, Chania, Corfu and Rhodes locations.
For all other locations the roadside assistance is provided by the rental station. It is recommended to contact the branch directly in the event of required roadside assistance. During rental location closure hours all direct calls to the branch are diverted to each location's designated 24/7 roadside assistance mobile phone line.
All drivers must present a full valid driving license and a valid identity card or passport. All drivers must have held their full license for a minimum of 1 year. Renters carrying a driving license from an EU member state or Switzerland do not require an International Driving Permit. For all other countries a valid International Driving Permit is required along with the national driving license. Renters are advised to check whether local authorities require foreign drivers to present an International Driving Permit to avoid the risk of potential fines. Renters with licenses from countries who are not part of the International Driving Permit Agreement should carry a certified translation. Please note that we reserve the right to request additional ID or conduct further identification checks if needed which may include an identity check with an external organization.

SLP SUPPLEMENTARY LIABILITY PROTECTION (THIRD PARTY LIABILITY) SLP Third Party Liability is included in the rate and covers each person for the amount of up to EUR 1,220,000 for bodily injury and/or death to third parties as well as up to EUR 1,220,000 for third party property damage.
