**CAA Member Benefit Details / Terms and Conditions for Qualifying Rentals
CAA Dollars®: Members may earn $1 per day up to $10 per qualifying rental with National. Members can earn an additional 50% or $1.50/day up to $15 Rewards Dollars per rental for bookings with National using your Emerald Club Membership.
- Valid CAA Membership Number is required at time of reservation.
- Members must reserve and pay for a Full-Size or larger vehicle
- Offer valid only at participating locations in Canada or the US.
- Additional Conditions: Offer has no cash value, and may not be used with Prepay Rates, Tour Rates, Corporate or Insurance Replacement Rates. Standard rental qualifications and return restrictions apply. Only one loyalty program point or award per rental may be awarded. Not valid in conjunction with National Emerald Club Rental Credit earning.
- CAA Dollars® Terms & Conditions: To earn and redeem CAA Dollars®, you must be a current CAA Member in good standing (CAA Membership dues paid in full by membership expiry date). CAA Dollars cannot be converted into currency at any time, and cannot be used to purchase CAA Premium Batteries, or to pay any amounts owing on your CAA Rewards MasterCard. Do not let your membership lapse or you will forfeit any accumulated CAA Dollars®. Your CAA Dollars® will be automatically redeemed towards your CAA Membership renewal dues.
Discounted GPS Navigation Device: CAA Members shall receive a discounted price of $6.99 per day for a single GPS unit.
One Free Infant Seat or Child Safety Seat per rental upon request at airport locations only. Any additional seats will be charged at current rates. National features child restraint systems that conform to government standards. Child seats vary by country. Please see our rental policies for exceptions.
- An Infant Seat is a rearward-facing seat recommended for infants 5-20lbs. Child Safety Seats are rear-facing or reclining for infants up to 30 pounds; forward-facing for toddlers 20 to 40 pounds. The convertible seat is designed for infants and toddlers. Booster seats are featured in some locations in limited quantities, so they cannot be guaranteed with a reservation. If you prefer this type of seat, please ask about availability at the counter when you arrive.
- Seat Features: 5-point harness with two-piece harness retainer and front harness lock. Large labeled seatbelt paths with locking clips. Upholstered with either vinyl or cloth, based on availability.
Members receive 10% off Prepaid Fuel Service Option.The Fuel Service Option means prepaying for a full tank of gas at the rental location. The price is based on an estimate of current prices per gallon and the average tank size for the car class reserved. This charge may change at time of rental due to current fuel prices. No refund will be given for unused fuel. If you do not want the Fuel Service Option you can choose to return the tank full or pay for gas used and not replaced when you return to the facility.
Additional Drivers: Up to 2 Additional Drivers may be added to a CAA Member Qualifying Rental at no additional charge. Any drivers added to a rental beyond the member benefit will be charged at current rates.
Discount Offer: Discount applies to base rate only and is valid at participating locations worldwide through 12/31/20. Discount only applies to reservations made through this site or other authorized CAA Member booking channels. Discount applies to vehicles reserved in advance for rentals up to thirty (30) days and is not available to walkups. Discount varies by rental date, location, and vehicle type. Taxes, other governmentally authorized or imposed surcharges (including GST/VAT), license and concession recoupment fees, airport and airport facility fees, fuel, additional driver fee, one-way rental charge and optional items are separate charges not affected by the discount offer except as indicated below. Renter and additional driver(s) must meet standard age, driver, rental qualifications and credit requirements. Rates are as posted at time of reservation. Weekly rates may apply depending on the length of rental or for longer rental needs. Not valid with any other coupon, offer, weekend special rate or any other discounted or promotional rate. Subject to change without notice. Void where prohibited. Vehicles subject to availability. Other restrictions, including holiday and blackout dates, may apply.
Privacy Notice: In order to fulfill certain benefits offered to CAA Members, information such as Membership Number, rental related information and other personally identifiable information will be disclosed by the rental brand to CAA.
